Building lean muscle is reported to be the best way to boost metabolic rate and shed calories...why aren't they calculated from the sets that I record?

It does enter "strength training" into the cardio section, the other section is just to track your progress.0

I know it records the data, but it doesn't add to the calories I can eat on a net basis...or am i missing something0

You have to put it in under the cardio section for it to figure in the calories0

I was wondering about that myself....0

Thanks all...that explains it...you can enter the exercies under cardio and then it works ok...0

It doesn't make sense that I can burn 1000 calories on the elliptical in 45 minutes, but only 350 calories weight lifting in 45 minutes. My nutritionist also said that weight training burns more calories. What's the deal?0
