Has anyone seen these? What the heck are the claims with these large vibrating platforms?

Just curious! I saw one at brookestone and thought, what the heck!(no it wasn't by their Lelo products which is hilarious to me as well)

    my gym just got one and its supposed to be great workout. i tried doing a push up while the base was vibrating wit was sure hard
