How long after being sick should I wait....

So 2 days ago, I was sick. Don't want to give TMI, but I lost over 3 lbs in liquid. Yesterday I ate pretty normal and drank a ton to re-hydrate. This morning, I'm still about a pound and a half lower than I was before getting sick. At what point do you think it's safe to record my weight again as a real loss? I lost about 2.5 lbs this first week back of really working at it, but I just don't want to record this as a loss since it's so big if I should wait a couple days?
Thoughts???

  • Record it, and then expect to gain some of it back by the next time you weigh in!

Wait until you are eating regularly again. I got food poisoning a couple years ago and lost 3 lbs over the weekend. Of course, the next week I was back up 2 of those lbs.
