bloating?

What causes it, and how can I get rid of it? I gained 3 lbs this week, and I have no idea how..I logged my food, exercise, and didn't over eat, or eat anything bad...and I drank ENOUGH water...so what happened?? I noticed when I was exercising my stomach looked bigger than normal - like I was retaining water!? :cry:

    Female stuff (PMS), salt????...I usually gain 3-5 lbs during that time of the months and my stomach expands.

    Hard to say without seeing your food diary. Maybe your body is reacting funny to something.

    I've cut out most grains in my diet and I had a hamburger last night and am so bloated this morning that I look preggo.
  • Try taking fiber capsuls

    If it is due to TOM you apparently start retaining water up to 10 days before your period is due, i.e. you are likely to have excess water weight from then until after your period. It's really annoyin as you feel as if you never have a 'true' weight.

    If it's not TOM are you eating enough? Gases do strange things in the tummy if you're hungry!

    I recently started taking fiber and I LOVE IT!
