    1. Rubber bands last longer when refrigerated.

This one surprises me since rubber bands usually break because they get dry and brittle and refrigerator air is very dry.

This is false http://www.snopes.com/business/money/redensign.asp It is not the American Flag it is the flag Canada had before the Maple Leaf, the Red Ensign.

I love trivia like this!! I will say, though, that the Mythbusters people declared the goldfish 3 second memory thing a myth.

And nice ones, sinsister titan! As for the youtube one, there's also 48 hours of youtube videos uploaded every minute. So you could never, ever watch them all.

Fun stuff! Though I know one of the family members of the people who owned that MGM lion. The roar you hear is not his.

    Animal group names:
    Unicorns - blessing
    crows/ravens - murder

And I'm blanking on some of the other fun ones... Can't beat gaggle of geese for the giggle factor to me!
  • fun

A giraffe can lick it's own ears

(and that's not an anagram  )
  • You got that Speaker one wrong I'm afraid, he gets to speak impartially.

random maths fact =) pentation is the 5th hyperoperation of maths and only has two possible inverse functions (penta.root and penta.log)

    an example ; 2 I^3(2) = ^2^2(2)= ^4(2) =(2)^2^2^2^2=65536

Not sure why anyone would ever need to know this unless it was asked in a quiz
