Pregnant!

I just found out I'm pregnant, but I still wanna lose weight and work out. Is this still a possibility? Can I still lift weights? Can anyone help me?

    Please talk to your OB about this. The recommendation for this should only come from your OB, based upon your current health stats, which we are not privy to.

    Talk to your OB. I lost 40lbs and found out I was pregnant. My OB recommended that I change to maintenance calories, instead of trying to lose, and also told me to stick to walking as a work out.

    Agreed. Whether you can lose or not with greatly depend on your specific situation. If your early in he pregnancy you can definately exercise, however if you do really intense workouts then this need to be monitored by your dr.

    You should be able to continue exercising at your current level with some modification. You and your OB should come up with a plan. Oh, and congratulations!!
