Just caught up on posts! Happy Birthday Lauryn! Is it today or yesterday! Anyways...I wish you the best!
Now...I have to get to some work. I leave at 11:45 to head to the doctors for my glucose testing. Fun! (sarcasm). And I'm really not in the best of moods today as we had to bury our family dog (at my parents house) last night. She was the first dog we ever had. 13 years old and just the sweetest thing. Sasha was her name. And I must say, it was the hardest thing I've had to do in a long time. My dad was out of town, so I had to go support my sobbing mom, emotional sister, and little 13-year-old brother. And as you can imagine this being tough normally, I have an abundance of those wonderful pregnancy hormones, so needless to say, it was hard. My husband came out and dug a hole where we buried her (my parents live out in the country). ANYways...today is still hard and it will be for a while.
Didn't want to put a downer on you ladies...just have a good weekend! I probably won't be back on here until Monday! Much love!:flowerforyou:0 -
I am so sorry Kristen. I can relate and know it is hard. When I was preggo I had to put down my 14 yr old cat due to a brain tumor. Those preggo hormones do not help the situation in the least.
Happy Birthday Lauryn! Hope your day is absolutely wonderful! :flowerforyou:0 -
HAPPY BIRTHDAY LAURYN :flowerforyou: :drinker:0

Thanks for the birthday wishes everyone!
(Today is my birthday Kristin, I just posted after midnight last night, lol.)
I'm going to shower and pack and head off to the mountains to hang out with some of my favorite college friends for a fun night of drinking and relaxing. My last birthday party was 12 years ago, when I turned 16. I never had a 21st birthday party (because my husband was a moron), so I'm excited to go out with people who are celebrating MY birthday.0 -
Sounds fun Lauryn! Have a BLAST! And I can't wait to hear all about it!
Thanks Amy.:flowerforyou:
Gotta run! Drinking my glucola and then heading to my appointment in a bit!0 -
Happy Birthday Lauryn! Have a GREAT weekend! :flowerforyou:
Kristin, I'm so sorry for your loss. :flowerforyou: I can relate. They become such a part of the family. The dog I grew up with had to be put to sleep about a month before my wedding. He was 18 (Toy Poodle). I'm afraid I'm going to have to go through it again soon. We have 12 1/2 year old Great Pyrenees who's not doing well. She has a growth on her lip and horrible arthritis in her back hips (we did get confirmation that it was NOT hip dysplasia) My daughter is going to take it hard. She's 5 and has grown so attached to Isabelle.
Ohh, the glucola ... I remember it well. Good luck on your glucose test!0 -

Hey Ladies,
Happy Friday to all. I didn't mean to skip over everyone. But I wanted to wish Lauryn a Happy Birthday before the day got away. I finally went back and read the earlier posts.
Kristen. I am sorry about your loss. Hang in there. Hormones or not its not easy losing a pet. I worry a lot cuz my Whiskey dog is getting up there in age too. She is starting to slow way down. And does have some health issues as well. Just know the pup is in a better place now. Keep your chin up.:flowerforyou:
Tamm : Enjoy yourself and best of luck to you. I can't wait to hear how everything goes. And thanks for the sweet letter you sent. Have fun!!!:flowerforyou:
And to eveyone else PLEASE HAVE A WONDERFUL AND SAFE WEEKEND!!!!!!:flowerforyou: :drinker: :flowerforyou:
Love to All,

So...all of last week I was not eating right. We went out of town. We drove 20 hours to our destination and 20 hours back. I made some healthy choices but mostly...all caution went to the wind. I ate lots of sweets and coffee and not enough water. When I weighed myself the other day I had LOST weight. What the heck?0

Hello Sixers!!!
Happy Birthday Lauryn !!!:flowerforyou: Wishing you many more!!!
Kristin- I'm sorry to hear about your family dog. That is really sad. Take care!
Tiff- You are doing amazingly well. I'm happy for you. :drinker: Keep it up!
Kel- The trip went well. I'm glad I have today to rest though.
So I was in Atlanta, went to my favorite R&B singer, Joe's concert and then I got my nails done, went to a spa, walked 6 miles (up and down hills of course) and then ended it all with a 5K race. Needless to say... I'm tired. I don't know what I weigh right now and I'm kinda nervous about the weigh in but I WILL DO IT.
Take care ladies

Hi Sixers.
I'm still not weighing in or logging food right now. Too much crap going on. Moving into my new apartment. Dealing with my estranged husband and his issues. Lots happening, causing me to have panic attacks (not those heart attack like ones, but just emotionally crippling attacks where I can't stop sobbing and cannot think positively). I'm working through my crap and do have a gym membership, so I'll get back to it soon enough. I'm headed to bed now, just wanted to stop in and say hi, let you all know I'm still breathing and eating. haha.
I wish everyone would post a little more. I miss hearing from all of you!!0 -
Good morning ladies! Thanks for all the kind words. It means a lot.:flowerforyou: I am excited to report that I passed my glucose test! YAY! And Baby Carpenter is doing really well! I go back again on the 1st! CRAZY! Hope you are all doing well. I have to get to some work, but wanted to say hello! Have a FABULOUS morning!:flowerforyou:0

Kristin- Glad you and the baby are well
Lauryn- I too miss coming on reading lots of post. I believe we are all bogged down with something right now. Life can be so crazy. Best of luck. Glad to hear from you!!!
Tiff is taking her test this friday!!! I know she will do well but I do remember all the stress. As for me, I am just hanging in here. I didn't eat well while I was out of town but I did workout lots and I even found a way for me to not eat so much... I shared meals w/ my friend. I drank way more than I usually do... because I never drink. LOL. But I'm going to face up to it tomorrow. I jogged 36 mins this evening, I remember there was a time I would do two more dvds and the elliptical for more fitness time. I don't know whats going on but I'm going to get it together. The reunion is only 2 months away now.... sept here we come.
Take care ladies,
Tamm:drinker:0 -
So, I know there were a bunch of votes for 'Sixers Turning Up The Heat' as our next challenge name so I'm going to start a new thread with that
NEW challenge ladies. Let's rock it!
