Just wondering, I awlays seem to go over my allotment on protein. Is that a problem or is it the lesser of the evils?

I made it a point to go over mine. As long as you are under calories, don't worry, I don't and it's worked for me thus far.

I always seem to go over my proteins too. I was hoping this was not a bad thing.

IMO, the settings for protein are too low on MFP. I purposefully go over, I want to see that negative red number in that column! You can change the settings if you want....but high protein is a good thing.

hate to bring it up, but just watch your... ummmm... bowel movements... if your having issues then consider increasing your fiber intake too....

if you are just dieting, 1/2 g per pound of body weight. If you are exercising or weight training, then 1 g per pound. For good nutrition and weight loss, MFP just standard sets it to the 15% of daily calorie goal. I went into my goals and customized mine because I wanted more protein and less carbs.
