Just joined. Had bariactric surgery in December and my surgeon recommended this website to track my food, water and exercise. I am in my early sixties, and would like to live long enough to enjoy these "golden years". Unfortunately, I feel 25 in my head and have to work at not embarassing my children. They would prefer that I act my age -- not likely! I am losing for health reasons as well as to look good. Many won't admit the last part, but I believe in telling the truth. I like to ballroom dance and am tired of being the "graceful, fat lady."

I would love to hear from anyone needing a friend in this struggle.

Carol

I'm not quite a senior (49), but I'm from Tennessee. I believe we're all the same age in our head. I can hardly pass a puddle without jumping in it. Well, maybe it's not THAT hard to pass one. Anyways, welcome to the forum. You CAN do this.

    Endeavor to persevere.

How about 60 in May and North Alabama, 90 miles from Chattanooga? Mentally about 25. Add me for support if you like.
  • Hi, Ken

I'm only a senior by a few years and mentally about 27. I love to embarass my children by not acting my age. Thanks for offering to be my friend. I definitely need someone to kick me in the ??? when I get out of line. I promise to encourage and support your effort as well.
