Anyone in the San Francisco Bay Area? What's your favorite adventure?? What's your favorite spot to hike, swim or explore? We love the redwood regional, of course. And Newark Aquatic Center.

Anyone else, around here got a favorite spot?

    Hey Laura,
    I'm in the Bay Area too. When im in San Francisco, I like going to Land's End near the sutro baths but that never seems to happen since I live about 30 minutes south. I have been wanting to rent kayaks at the Cupertino Dam but haven't yet. You have any recommendations for around the Peninsula?

    Hi guys!

    I'm on the peninsula in San Mateo and just took my first bike ride along the bay trail between Coyote Point and the San Mateo bridge. It's so beautiful that this morning I walked out to the bay again this morning to watch the sunrise!

    also love Skyline Road along the coast mountains south of 92. There are lots of beautiful trails out there.

    Another good idea is to look for Flickr groups of people who post pics from parks or nature spots around your area. When I see a spot that looks amazing, I find the trail that goes there!

    I left SF about 3 years ago but my favorite place to run was Golden Gate Park between Park Presidio and Ocean Beach. There are some fun little dirt paths you can find and there is nothing quite like seeing the ocean. I lived on 14th and Lincoln so GG Park was pretty much my back yard... sigh.
