for those that are losing weight, how many cals are you averaging a day when you workout and burn an average of 400 a day 5 days a week.
I've been trying to stay around 1200.

For those losing, do you eat more than that when your doing spin, pilates, etc.?

If you only eat 1200 calories while burning 400 in exercise, you're basically giving your body only 800 calories to live off of that day. I would highly suggest you raise your calorie goal to something closer to your maintenance level.

Here are my numbers (average over the past 4 weeks since using MFP to log food/workouts)
    5'10" Male, 246lbs Starting W (1/2/12), 185lbs Goal W

    Cals: ~1550/day
    Carbs:~170g/day
    Fat:~45g/day
    Protein:~90g/day
    Workouts (w/ HRM): ~430cal/day
    Cumulative Cal intake: ~1100/day
    Weight Loss: 3lbs/Week

I workout (C25K/30DS) after dinner so I can see how many cals I need to burn to get to my daily Cum. Cal Intake goal of 1100/day after my food is logged for the day; I don't eat back my calories, and I weigh myself every morning. So far it's been relatively easy, but that's just me. Hope that helps.

    Good Luck.

EDIT-For those doing the math, I lost about 10lbs before I started logging food/exercise on MFP
