Water retention

Over the weekend I have gained 4 lbs. I know it has to be water weight.... my rings are tighter and my eyes are puffy.... I have a family reunion coming up this weekend and I don't want to have gained weight just before. ANY suggestions..... pills/ diet/ ANYTHING

    Body Wrap? I hear you loose inches from removing water. You'll gain in back quickly but they say it's suppose to be relaxing & pampering. I haven't done it but I had a special event to go to & wanted to look better quickly too. Some might frown on it but....desperate times calls for desperate measures:laugh: :laugh: :laugh: Good Luck & have fun. :flowerforyou:

    If it's water weight, it will be gone within a dew days! Just drink a lot of water and watch your sodium this week so it doesn't happen again before your reunion.

    I agree...drink a lot more water and cut back on your sodium...that should help.
  • Diurex works great. Also try extra calcium and magnesium and cut out caffeine.

    I notice that with me too. On the weekends, I don't drink as much water because when I'm out running around, I don't want to look for a bathroom every 30 minutes. I usually gain about 3-6 pounds by Monday. Then on Monday, I'm back at work and usually drink about 100-120 oz of water. On Tuesday morning, I usually drop 4 pounds.

    I was wondering if this is bad for me, not getting enough water over the weekend?
