Excited. Going to go shopping for some workout clothes today. Need some form fitting clothing so my resistance band will stop getting snagged when working out. Been working out in old t-shirts and pajamas. LOL. Only have one pair of yoga pants that I love. Where do you guys like to get your workout clothing for a really good deal??

I like TJ Maxx and Marshalls - you can get brand name stuff for a lot less than full retail. They always have a clearance section too, so start there first - I've gotten some great deals!

I've gotten mine at Old Navy and Target. I refuse to spend a ton on exercise clothes and their stuff is reasonable.

I like the Nike and Adidas at Kohls where you can usually get a good sale, and Old Navy has some nice workout pants.

I agree. Almost always have some on the clearance rack at target.
  • I do not have a preferred brand, but I do like Danskin brand. Where I live there is not a lot of places to shop and I do not want to drive an hour plus to go shopping all the time.

Target has some really great stuff this season. I also buy stuff at Kohl's when I have a coupon.

Old Navy has a 20% off sale going on until tomorrow. I just got 2 pairs of workout pants for $27. I shopped online and entered in the coupon code. :D

For those in the UK, I use Sports Direct. Brand names which are maybe "last season" but so much cheaper.
  • I get my pants and shirts at walmart. I get Danskin's yoga pants, the 3/4 capri style. They're comfortable, fit well, and are priced right [$8].

I usually pick up their racer-back tank tops when they're on sale for $3 each. I have so many in different colors.

I don't pay a lot for workout clothes that I only wear to get sweaty. I wear them for function. :)

Well for bottoms I like Mark's Work Wearhouse for their yoga pants. I just love them  . They have a great range of sizes so I can always find my size. For the top half I have to say nothing beats an old t-shirt to work out in.

I live in Brandon, Manitoba, Canada, I guess maybe I could buy Lu Lu Lemon clothes but I usually just shop at Wal-Mart or Zellers or Superstore. I wouldn't spend a lot of money when I am going to get it all sweaty. Good luck in your shopping I hope you find what you are looking for.
  • sports direct here ( UK) but i also just exefcise in yoga pants ( store bought) and a fitted vest top ;)

Marshalls and TJ Maxx are great, and I've gotten a few good things at Old Navy. I usually do Old Navy when they have a 'spend $10 get a $20 voucher' Groupon deal, keep an eye open for those!

That's what I've been wearing to work out in too! Thanks for posting, as I too am interested in finding out the best place to get some good workout clothes but don't want to spend too much since I am still planning on losing another 25-30 pounds!

I shopped on eBay. I don't mind getting "like new" used, and I found some great deals there.

I also buy stuff from target/ kmart or local markets (in Turkey).
If I lived in America (or even Canada) I would order stuff from bravada.com! They have a 40% off sale on their online collection at the moment, ending on feb 22nd. I can't bring myself to pay 25 bucks for international shipping, unfortunately.

I ordered some pants off Walmart.com that I really like. I don't know if they are available in the store, because I have avoided the store for over a year now. They were $11 and they fit beautifully. I got one long pair and one capri length.

I also got some cheap tank tops.

I will go cheap on the actual clothes, because if all goes well, they will become loose, and I just sweat and make them funky anyway. I tend to work out alone because I don't want to be seen, but I must say, my workout clothes are kind of foxy.

I tend to spend a lot more on sports bras and sneakers because those are essential to have a good fit. Shirts and pants are easier to fit if they are stretchy, but the shoes and bra absolutely must work the way they are supposed to or else I can get hurt.
  • Walmart (Danskin products) or Old Navy, all on sale, so like $5 fro a top, $10 for a pant/capri

Thanks so much everyone!!! These are some great ideas!! It looks like I will be going to Walmart today. Nothing beats being able to buy lettuce and yoga pants at the same place! I will be also definitely checking out Old Navy, TJMaxx, Target, and some of the other great places you guys have mentioned. Thanks!

LOL! I totally wear leggings with absolutely ZERO shame! I reward myself with some lululemon pants every now and then, though. Those things are like a dream! :)

No kidding. When I bought my first (and, thus far, only) pair of Lululemon leggings I thought I was probably insane for spending so much money on workout pants. But they are AMAZING. They may have ruined me for other leggings forever.
  • I just picked up a pair of Nike Dry-Fit spandex for $14 a Marshall's. They have name brand items and a huge selection to choose from.
