Obviously, we have all heard about that awesome website/app called MyFitnessPal. I tell people at work about it all the time. I demo it for friends. I love it.

I'm wondering what else you love. Websites, apps, podcasts, whatever is helping you reach your goal.

Personally, I am a podcast girl. I've got a decent commute everyday and I love listening to podcasts on my drive. My favorites:
The Nutrition Diva's Quick and Dirty Tips
The Jillian Michaels Show
Inside Out Weight Loss

All totally different perspectives, sometimes contradictory, but they all definitely give me the perspective I need.

I use Pinterest! I love it. I use it to collect recipes from all around the web. I also have boards for fitness and motivation and nutrition. It's so much easier to be able to have all the information I need in one place instead of having 200 bookmarks to go through to find 1 page.

I just started using Pinterest and I love it. It is so wonderful to create visual bookmarks. I'm planning a wedding right now so whenever I start in looking at fitness, I end up looking at wedding stuff :) I'll definitely check out your boards.

Pinterest. Don't have much time for the gym so I have a bunch of exercises pinned on there and I use them faithfully. I also have a board that has (mostly) healthy foods. I'm at pinterest.com/pbprincess

    Evernote.

All my recipes, workout notes, restaurant nutrition sheets, EVERYTHING goes in there.

MirelaH - Your boards make Vegan cooking look delicious! I will have to check out some of your recipes. I have been wanting to integrate more vegetarian dishes into my diet.

pbprincess - I laughed so hard when I read: Whenever you read the words low-fat or fat-free, think chemical sh!tstorm.

erikrichter - I will have to check evernote out. I had never thought of keeping restaurant nutrition sheets on my phone. That is a great idea!

I love Spark Recipes for food options.

For fitness, a pair of sneakers and a good sports bra are at the top of the list, because I need them for almost every workout. Other than that, I love resistance bands, a jump rope, dumb bells and a yoga mat. My DVD collection and DVD player are essential too.

I also love a good MP3 player. Music wakes me up, distracts me from food and keeps me working out longer than I would if I were in silence.

My favorite fitness tool, besides by kettlebells, is a GYMBOSS timer. Whether doing kettlebells only, calisthenics, or a mix of the two setting up the timer for rest/work intervals lets me focus on working hard and maintaining proper form and, (sometimes), praying for the beep.

So many things to check out. I pinned a sparksrecipes recipe :D

I have really been thinking about getting an HRM but I don't feel like I can fit it into the budget just yet. I need to replace my running shoes but that will be coming up on the list shortly.

That GymBoss timer sounds like an excellent idea for circuit training. I should really be doing more of that :/
  • I'm a HUGE fan of Pinterest (probably a bit obsessed with it, to be honest).

I use it to find recipes, inspiring quotes, different exercises, and images that help me visualize my ideal body.

    Jefit pro.

An android app (not sure if they have it for other platforms) that tracks my lifting days and syncs it to a web profile on www.jefit.com. I used to use a good old pen and paper when working out, but I'm such a technogeek I had to make the switch.

edit - and since it's on my phone, I have my phone/tracker/music player with me at the gym, all on one device.
