Im now in maintenance mode (5'7", 127lbs), but am training for a 10k race and to be super fit, so am accumulating a high calorie burn. I cant however eat all my calories back without stuffing my face with pizza (although I would very much like to do that!!) I use protein shakes which helps with the calories, but Ive found since losing weight, I just dont need as much food as before to feel full. When I try to eat all my cals back, I feel like Im going to explode!
Any suggestions???

Add good fats, such as avocados, nuts. I use eat clean diet from Oxygen, and find that the balance of carbs, proteins and fats helps me better fueled for races. I would add extra snacks in when I was hungrier. Also, if you are wanting to run these races fast, from a nutrition standpoint, add in spinach and beets b/c they contain nitric oxide, which helps with speed. You can google for more foods that contain this. Good luck with your races - I am gearing up for 5K race series.0
