my mom sent me a lovely valentines gift, but it included CANDY, yikes, need to stay away from that stuff, had one reeses heart, from a 2 piece pack, and am VERY PROUD of myself for not eatting the other one! WHOOHOO! put the rest of the candy in the the living room for my roomates...have to think of the final goal not the instant, very limited time of sugar pleasure!

Haha, this reminded me of a funny story I had to share.

My mother in law bought me a box of chocolate several years ago and ate half of it before she gave it to me. And no, it was not a message to me since I was running less than 20% body fat at the time. She is just crazy.
  • HAHAHA thats too funny! well not to be selfish, at least you didn't have to eat half the pack! its hard having candy around the house and trying not to give into temptations!

Well i am trying to resist the m&m's my mother-n-law brought over last night. The pack is opened and in a candy bowl (her idea) and has been staring me down all day. I want to throw them away but it seems like a crime to toss out chocolate. Good luck resisting the candy.

I had to throw out the other reeses peanut butter cup. when i threw it away, i was like, what am i doing!!! that is a perfectly good piece of chocolate!! then i thought, would i rather have that chocolate be garbage in my body, or garbage in the trash......i know this a little dramatic, but im staying focused. Good luck to you also!

We've been trying for weeks to make a restaurant reservation of some kind, but everything's booked solid around here. In some respects I guess it's a blessing in disguise.

I overbought on Halloween candy this year and had $50 worth of candy left. I was trying to be good and put it in a closet to save for next year's trick-or-treaters, but my girlfriend pressured me to divulge the location. Once I gave in that was it! But I logged everything and stayed within my calorie goals so it wasn't a big deal. We still have some left but fortunately it's the undesirable stuff that we would only eat out of sheer desperation.

I just had a Reese Heart sent to me. Reese hearts/eggs/christmas trees/pumpkins/bats are the fricking best lol. I love them soo much. I immediately gave mine to my sister and demanded she eat it right away lol. out of sight, out of mind. Until I opened this thread and am now wishing I had one haha.
