Too much healthy fat?

I know almond butter provides healthy fats, but even given my vigorous exercising I am not dropping weight. I am wondering if I'm overdoing it with my daily indulgence of 2 T of almond butter. I am 5'3" and I'm aiming to lose 15 pounds (from 130). I don't get much fat from other sources throughout the day. I do use olive oil in my cooking at dinner, and I usually throw some avocado in my salad. Should I cut back on the almond butter? Cut it out all together?! HELP! Today's diary entry is pretty typical of how I eat.

Try it. Try eating less fat and see what happens. However, I really really think weightloss is based on intake of calories. Eat an achieveable amount, (In another words, not too low of an amount that you will binge later because you are restricting yourself too much), then you should lose weight.

Try different things and see what works. I notice that I need to eat about 1500 cals, and NOT eat my exercise calories back and then I lose weight.

But I tried going to 1200, then I'd binge after 4 days and blow my calories out of the ball park. It wasn't good for me, because I'd eventually binge. I don't like eating my exercise calories because who knows what we are truly burning. Sometimes I go over, but it's because I choose to, that day.

My answer to you is "no, I don't think the excessive healthy fat is stalling your weightloss."

I don't think it's your fat intake. My fat intake is a lot higher, but I also keep my sugar/carb intake much lower that you.

That's just my observation based on what has been working for me, so it might be "apples" to "oranges" -- i'm sure there are other adjustments you can make instead.
