    I just started a few weeks ago myself. I spent years putting weight on, and I am surprised at how fast it comes back off in comparison. My best advice is just to know yourself, and my second best advice is to know your goals. For me, I know there are times when I will eat more than I should. I accept that about myself, but I do work to change it. I also know that each time the second number in my weight goes down (190 to 180, for example), I've hit a short term goal, and that gives me motivation to press forward.

    Anyhow, the community here is great, and the calorie tracker is really helpful. Good luck with your weight loss!
