You could of hit a plateau but don't get down
GET EVEN!
check your diary's make sure your mixing up your meals
check your workouts make sure your mixing those up too
check your carbs
sodium
you getting enough water
are you getting enough calories?
1200 a day for females no less
don't wanna under eat
are you staying away from junk food and fast food and processed food?
many reasons weigh out all of them
remember it takes 3500 burned cals to lose 1lb but also gonna depend on what ur eating
bigger you are easy to lose
smaller you get harder it gets
we just gotta keep on pushing
you can do it!
I also did a write up on plateau's
here

Don't despair - your body is no machine. Sometimes there is a good reason for not losing any lbs (e.g. Are you about to get your period? Did you eat a lot of sodium in which case you might be carrying extra fluid? Did you workout extra hard the day before your weigh-in? If so, I tend to weigh more the day after a hard workout). Just take comfort from the fact that you worked really hard and even if it does not show on the scale you should still be proud of your hard work and th weight will drop again, it just doesn't always do it when we want it to.0

I don't like it when people get discouraged so easily
I posted this in my blog but I'll post it here
PS this wasn't written specifically to you so don't take any of it to heart if you feel it offends you, it's just a list of things I think people forget when they hit a speed bump!
I have this problem, it's a real HUGE problem and for once it's not my backend I'm talking about... it's those people who become hopeless the moment a diet doesn't go their way, it's those people that'll cry over it and make a big deal because they haven't lost any weight or shock of all horrors GAINED 1/4 of a pound! Below might be a bit harsh but I can assure I don't mean it to be at all hurtful but sometimes tough love is called for and I'm using this as much as to motivate myself as well as anyone else that may be in a similar situation.
I've seen these crop up before, in person and on this site!
1) I'm losing inches but not losing any weight! I might just starve myself
-> This is one of the silliest comments I have EVER seen in my life! I have said this so many times on this website but WEIGHT is but a number, on its own it's a useless statistic & is a figure that is reliant on other information in order to have any meaning! The combination of you not losing weight but losing inches means your muscle mass is growing, in other words you're getting toned as well as losing fat! Well done so you're going to get leaner but not have saggy skin, consider yourself lucky!
2) I have been on a plateau for 2 weeks, think I might give up &/or STARVE MYSELF
-> What's the point of giving up? Yeah you may have plateaued and you are no longer seeing any progress but what have you done about it or what are you going to do about it? STARVE yourself, all to often this is the conclusion people set their minds to by default and it's a crying shame! Have you tried thinking outside the box? Maybe eat a little more or have a spike day every week to help kick-start ye olde metabolism again, because you may be eating too little! Or try exercising more or just do what you've been doing for the past few months and stick at it... you may be unsatisfied with your weight as it is now and that's fine but remember how much better you feel compared to when you were heavier, now is it worth going back to that just because you can't get those extra 10lbs? No it isn't because that would truly make the past x months a waste of time.
3) HELP I'm not getting any hotter!
-> Some people's body types, faces and the like look better with a bit of meat to them, it's just the way life is I'm afraid! But surly weight loss shouldn't just be about vanity? Think about it for a moment, just how much more pleasurable is it to move around, how much more energy do you have? And also doesn't it feel good to be able to fit into clothes that don't look like duvets! Not everyone is attractive and not everyone suits skinny but the is more to life then looks!
4) I've been eating terribly recently, whats the point? I've fallen off the waggon
-> You may have fallen off the waggon, lord knows I have the past 2 weeks but you can always get back on! You got onto the waggon in the first place so what the hell is there to stop you from getting back on again? The more you dwell on how difficult it'll be to get back on track the more difficult it'll become, despite what some people may tell you when the say 'you can't just flick from one mindset to the other just like that' I call bull****, you CAN if you believe you can, you'll get cravings but because you wont DIE from these withdrawal symptoms then as long as your will is strong you can overcome them, it's all about self belief and finding support as opposed to wallowing in self-pity.
5) I've gained back all that weight I've lost!
-> I have done this TWICE in my life, huge losses of 100+lbs totally ruined a couple of years later, don't just accept this as 'The End' or an inevitability and just face up to it, if you aren't happy with how you are now and prefered how you were, then do something about it! You've already done it once before so you already know you have it in you to succeed & don't look for minor reasons as to why you might not be able to do it this time and not even try. 'I don't have a local gym' 'I dont have the stamina to work out' 'I dont have the support anymore' 'Whats the point' 'I cant do this' 'Im to embarrassed to exercise' adapt! You've got it in you to do it because you've done it before & the first time you didn't know exactly what you were going to do you just did what circumstances allowed at the time... don't trick yourself into thinking that's the ONLY way you can do it, start clean and borrow bits that worked for you and are achievable and fill in the gaps with substitutes!
So yea, these might be a bit harsh but all of these have one message under them and it's simply this GET A GRIP, YOU'RE MUCH STRONGER THEN YOU GIVE YOURSELF CREDIT FOR! I have been through these at different stages of my life & know how distressing it can be. Sometimes you just need the solution spelt at to you but at the end of the day you need to do it your way and always remember that you can do this!0 -
Don't give up. Keep exercising and logging your food intake. I've been back exercising regularly for 6 weeks now and it's only now I can see some weight coming off. However, what I did see right from the 1st few days was a regular increase in strength and endurance and my clothes fitting better. Try not to get hung up on the scales, look for other signs of progress. You can do this!0

NOOOOO, don't quit or get discouraged. I hit a plateau too and I think its because I am only 7-10lbs from my goal weight and I need to step things up a bit. Keep doing what you are doing and just keep going, it will work, you'll see!0

I'm not gonna give up I understand that some weeks I'm not gonna loose weight it's just frustrain that I haven't when I've worked reali hard and I have along way 2 go 2 get 2 my goal.0

I know what you mean...I didn't lose anything last night, and it's easy to feel frustrated. It's natural to want to see the results, but you have to remember that especially as a woman hormones will mess with your weight loss as well, not to mention that you're also most likely building muscle as you're losing fat, which can balance out your loss. I just started measuring myself, so I'm hoping that'll show me some better results. I'm probably one of the most impatient people ever, so I'll bust my butt for a whiole week and expect to see results as well. I'm just looking at it as a lesson in patience and perserverence0
