is my bum normal if not what exercises will help it not stick out i heard yoga was good

    Looks normal to me :drinker:

    Nothing will firm your buns up like Chen style Taijiquan. It's hard to find a teacher because most schools are Yang style in the west, but if you hunt around you can usually find someone to teach you.

    Here's a video of it, watch for a few minutes and you'll understand the glute and quad strength required to do these moves under such slow control. First time I tried it I couldn't walk properly for a week.

    Yeh at least u have a bum!!! I'm flat there and my pants r always falling down seems like my fat missed a place to settle down *sigh*...dont lose it!

    Track your food and eat a bit less to lose fat everywhere. And lunges & squats with weights will likely help you like your bum more.

    Your bum seems pretty similar to mine from your pic. It took me a long time to come to terms with having a proper booty, but now I absolutely love and celebrate it. It did help that it was appreciated greatly by every boyfriend I've ever had (without exception lol).

    My best advice to you would be to learn to accept your body shape, know that there are a great many women who would kill to have a bum like yours, and to love yourself.

    Best exercises for a toned bum I would say are squats and bridges.

    Its not a matter of what is or isn't "normal" It all depends on your body structure....and whether or not YOU like it :-) Personally I like my booty to stick out.. I don't like my booty to be fat and blah.. but tight and plump :-)

    why would you not want it to stick out? i love my stick out butt. my hubby loves it. others love. my sister would freak out if she saw this, she has none and does a billion exercises each day trying very hard to get a hint of one.


    but to answer you. cyclist have little bums.

  • Try 100 squats a day challenge for 100 days, really works that area as well as your core and legs, just saying!
