I bought a Fitbit yesterday and synced it with mfp. It said to make sure I log start and stop times of exercises on mfp. How do I do that? I am confused. :blushing:

Thank you!

    Hi

When you go to log exercise on MFP and it recognises you have a fitbit then you will have the opportunity to put start times in. Mine only started showing up about 3 days after I synched my fitbit to the site.

Once you have registered your FitBit and created an account at FitBit.com, log in to MyFitnessPal and go to the following page:

    http://www.myfitnesspal.com/fitbit

Once there, click the button labeled "Connect a FitBit Now." You will be taken to a page at FitBit.com where you can authorize the connection...

i got that off the help page, don't know if this will help you but try it :) please let me know how you like you're fitbit thinking about purchasing one

I have been syncing my fitbit to mfp for a few weeks now. I normally don't add exercises manually unless they are non cardio where the fitbit wouldn't be detecting your movement appropriately. When you log exercise on the fitbit page, it asks for duration and start time. That's all I've ever done and it seems to update calories burned into mfp just fine. Good luck. FitBit is awesome!

Thank you everyone! I am going to wear my heartrate monitor when I exercise so I can be as accurate as possible. I already love my Fitbit! I was surprised yesterday to discover I had my activity level set wrong on mfp. I am more active than I thought! I think this will be a huge help for me.

    Thank you again! :flowerforyou:
