I had no idea what Fage was until I came into this thread. I thought it was a fancy term for fitness-rage

i like the Greek Gods brand better because its not too bitter.

hmm you can add jam, granola, fruit, nuts, ect. sometimes i throw some in my protein shakes or i make my own frozen yogurt and put it in the blender with a little frozen fruit.

i think you could literally add anything to fage and it wouldn't be bad.

I agree! This thread is making me hungry. Luckily I have some in the fridge now.

I get Chobani plain nonfat greek yogurt and sweeten with a little packet of sugar and fruit. Way less sugar, way more taste.

I haven't tried this yet, but read where someone liked putting a little bit of sugar-free, flavored jello (gelatin) mix. I plan to get some the next time I go shopping.

Thanks everyone for all of your great ideas I've tried the Dannon brand plain Greek yogurt and it was so gross and bitter! I'm so worried I'll have another bad experience, but love yogurt!

My absolute favorite is white peaches or nectarines topped with fage, greek gods or trader joe's plain greek 0% with just a little drizzle of honey, though it's more of a summer love. I like a little bit of honey and a sprinkle of chopped walnuts or a spoonful of flax meal too. If I'm feeling particularly decadent I'll chop up a dried apricot or two and throw that in with the walnuts and honey. Bliss. I've also been using it instead of sour cream for just about everything, including spinach dip. I use a packet of veggie soup mix, thawed frozen chopped spinach (usually a 16oz bag, squeezed dry) and a 16oz container of yogurt. I leave out the mayo, but sometimes I do chop up water chestnuts and add some for texture. Great with those crinkle cut carrot chips or cut up peppers, and I always have something to bring to parties that I can eat too.

I thought Fage was some dieting slang term I hadn't come across yet.

My guess was, Fage - Fat person rage

"I was in a fage because someone ate my calorie controlled lunch from the work fridge."

I use my fage for sour cream, it's incredible.

I also use it to make protein shakes. Unsweetened almond milk, a scoop of my ON protein powder, the yogurt and then a tablespoon [sometimes less, sometimes more] of sugar free cheesecake pudding mix. Also add sugar/sweetener to taste. I throw it all in the blender. :)

I will add mixed fruits in there as well. For some reason I've been wanting to put some peanut butter in it...I might try that this week for breakfast.

    That would work too.

    Fage - fitness rage

Someone cut me off in last weekends marathon and put me off my pace and into a fage.

I am addicted to Fage Cherry yogurt! I gotta have it! I like it straight out of the carton or with a sliced banana and a 1/4 cup of walnuts stirred in! I love the texture and the flavor of the cherry!

It's my favorite. I've tried all the rest and I always go back to Fage. My favorite way to eat it is with fresh berries ( raspberries, blueberries, boysenberries and strawberries in particular ) with a sprinkling of raw brown sugar over the top (1/4 of a teaspoon at the most). I use it to replace sour cream too.

Full-fat Fage with honey and almonds is what I eat. Roasted almonds even better!

Sometimes I just add a packet of Splenda for sweetness. I also love to put fresh pineapple in it and add some of the pineapple juice, and it flavors it just enough.
