When do you measure the pasta, before or after cooking? I need to know so I can track right.....

Unless you're making your own pasta, wouldn't it just say on the box whether it's measure dry or cooked?

Not on the pasta I use. It says 2.0 oz per serving, about 1/8 of box.... I guess that means before, but just wanna make sure.

pasta is weighed raw.....its absorbs water when cooked so the weight goes up significantly.....same as rice!

I always measure mine dry too. I cut the serving in half, and it still fills up the plate with the thick veggie/tomato sauce I put it in.
