Why has the database dropped the amount of calories burned by walking at a moderate pace from 132 to 120 for 30 minutes????

Have you lost weight, as you lose weight you will burn fewer calories.

    This....

By the way walking at a really brisk pace, i,e. the pace of a jog but walked (different mechanics!) burns more calories than the jog! :)

also depends on your stamina. once your body gets used to it and the walking gets easier, you will burn less (even tho not that much). and of course how fast you walk.

Yep - losing weight is probably it. MFP is smart enough to constantly use your current weight to calculate how much you burn.

    This is the correct answer.

Yeah, the more weight you lose, the harder it is to burn the same amount of calories.
