Ok, my birthday is Friday, and I want to be 1lb lighter by then! Give me some suggestions on how to get there!
I'm already working out intensely (spin, kickboxing, weight training) with 7 gym classes a week. So, I'm thinking the trick is going to be in the diet, but that's pretty on point too.
Anyone know any tips to help shed a birthday pound??

Keep down your carbs and sat fats, make sure you're getting enough protein and good fats, stay hydrated. Good luck and happy birthday for then0

Limit your sodium it will cause you to retain fluid0

I'd actually give yourself a rest day in there from exercise -- I seem to lose better when I'm getting 1-2 rest days a week and your body can come back stronger after a day of rest.
For me, the cleaner I eat the more I lose, meaning lean proteins (eggs, chicken, fish, turkey), lots of veggies and little sauces/dressings. For complex carbs I'll have a yam or squash or peas, I stay away from grains.
Water, water, water, water
And Happy Birthday!!!!!0 -
To actually lose a pound you'd want to be 700 calories a day under maintenance for the next 5 days.
Alternatively if it's just for the significance of the number on the scale you could be mindful of your diet until then, exercise as appropriate...and then sit in a steam room for 20-30 minutes before you weigh yourself.0 -

This but I don't think you have to be that low, my normaly carbs was 200-250 so i cut mine down last week and this (engagement pictures Friday) to styaing close to 100 and I lost 4 lbs. But take note, it will come back some when you start uping your carbs again0 -
I would say drink LOTS of water and focus mostly on eating LOADS of fresh fruit and vegetables (think along the lines of: the more you eat the more you lose), and kick out the bread, just until Friday. I ate ONLY fruit and veg for a week and lost 7lbs. Its a good detox for the short term, but not recommended for more than a week. Follow by gradually re-introducing a normal healthy balanced diet.0

Happy Birthday!! Drink lots of water, plenty of sleep and track your sodium to much can make you retain water.0
