    An exercise ball?

You can use it for almost any exercise you would use a bench for.

What kind of bench? WalMart has lots of Gold's Gym stuff - it's pretty reasonable. You might check it out on-line & see if it's what you're looking for.

When it comes to home fitness equipment, theres only 2 kinds.

    Expensive.. and Used.... lol

Your best bet is to search craigslist.. NOW is about the time to buy it, as alot of "new years resolution" people have quit.

Depending on her goals and experience I kinda like the exercise ball ideal...its inexpensive, easily get it out of your way, stabilizes her core in the process...and yes you can simulate incline with it not to mention pushups, crunches, squats etc...

Spend as much as you can afford and then some. It will be central to your progression. Get something cheap and risk you're health when holding metal above you've face/body? No thanks!

My wife said her Y is back to normal and I don't know about my gym since I go on off peak hours (though I do notice people I was seeing every day aren't coming in quite as much).
