No weight to lose - just looking to get in shape :)

Hi everyone! Just curious if there is anyone else out there not trying to lose any weight, just trying not to gain and trying to get in shape. When I tell people I started on MFP, they say I don't have any weight to lose so I shouldn't worry about trying to be healthy.

Anyone out there in the same boat?

    I have plenty of weight to lose....but....just because you have no weight to lose does NOT mean you are healthy!! I'm sure you will find plenty of people on here that can help you out. Good Luck!!

    I am! I lost 2kg over the past 6 weeks, without really trying to. Just started exercise again after a break of a few months due to an injury and watching my calorie intake quite carefully, just to check what I was actually putting in my mouth.
    I am looking to gain muscle and improve my fitness, once I've competely got over my shoulder injury that it.

    I'm pretty much in the same boat. I lost 121 pounds a couple of years ago and am roughly at my ideal weight now. It fluctuates a few pounds, usually after a carefree weekend. I use MFP primarliy for the calorie counting tool. I also like to read of other people's successes.
