We've made this one a few times - I really like it

I've never put green peppers in it, but I do the rest. I just chop my tomatoes - I never process them. I'm sure you could use ground turkey instead of beef, but I just prefer beef.0 -

Here's a recipe for one we had for dinner last night!
400g minced lean beef
1 large carrot, grated
1 onion finely chopped
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/4 cup tomato sauce
1/4 cup dried milk powder
1/4 cup milk
1 stock cube crumbled
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp dried basil
Mix it all together. Bung it in a tin (I lined mine with baking paper to save on dishes) and cook for 1 hour at 180 degrees C (Sorry I don't know what that is F)
It makes 4 big serves at: 291 18 12 26 per portion
(I used whole milk powder but skim milk when I entered it in the recipe - just because that's what we had in the cupboard)0 -

I always get lots of compliments on my meatloaf. I use 2 packages of ground turkey 97% fat free, 2 eggs, one small white onion chopped, diced green bell pepper, mix in bowl. Add about 1/2 to 1 cup of tomato sauce and mix in. Add quick one minute oats until desired consistency. I then separate into two equal sized balls. Push one in 13x9 baking dish, top with light cheddar cheese and then top with other half of meat mixture. Cook at 350 for about 30 minutes or until center is cooked thoroughly. About 5 minutes before it is completely done top with a little bit of ketchup. It serves a large number of people and the left overs reheat great.0

I don't really have a recipe (meatloaf has always been one of those things I just throw together). But I do make them using lean ground turkey, quick oats, egg whites, a can of tomato sauce -the stuff with no salt or anything added, onion, grated so the juice moistens the meat, any seasonings & things from the refrigerator door that I feel like that day. I also divide them into muffin tins, 1 lb of turkey makes 8-10 muffins, so you get 2 for a serving.0
