Does eating more often boost your metabolism?

  • It has done wonders for me. I am rarely hungry and eat the same amount of calories, but spread out over 5-7 meals..
  • Yes, I've taking up eating 2 snacks a day along with my 3 meals and it really helps me out a ton! I never feel hungry even though my goal is 1200cal a day so I love snacks!

    I'm not sure that it boosts your metabolism. I think there have been new studies or more information that debunks this, but I personally haven't researched it because I'm happy with eating my 5 or 6 meals a day.

    My opinion is that eating often 5 to 6 meals a day prevents over eating and bingeing because it keeps your appetite under control. If you are uncontrollably hungry, you are more apt to eat something that you might regret later.
