I dont eat particuarly badly, its late night food which is my downfall. My parents dont understand, they just think I'm eating because I'm bored. My stomach is genuinely rumbling again once its 9 o'clock!

Apart from drinking lots of water, what else can I do to stop myself from snacking?

Don’t stop snacking, just do it smart. Make your dinner a little smaller to save some calories for later and then you can have a healthy snack a couple of hours before bed. Think lean protein or veggies.

This may sound silly, but it seems to work for me. I brush my teeth. Then, I don't want to eat anything because I have that nice fresh feeling. Best wishes!

    Chew gums.
Do ESE (24 hour fasting) then you can eat all the calorie at night.

when i feel like i need to eat even tho my stomach isnt growling i started buying gum . .. its only 5 calories and i can chew it for a few good hours so that it helps me to stop munching on other things that will rack up the calories. thats what i do maybe it can help. :)

Also try the sugar free candies. I have been craving like crazy and I bought some sugar free hard candy jolly ranchers to suck on. 40 calories for I think 4 or 5 pieces. Better than hundreds of calories from binging.

I have tried several things that help. Macha Green Tea, fat-free greek yogurt sweetened with stevia, brushing my teeth and gargling with a strong mouth wash. Go to bed and get extra sleep.
  • I agree with the above post of going to bed a little earlier and getting that good sleep. However, pushing each meal back a little later should help. If you say you are hungry a 9 pretty steady. My late night snack which is rare is a handful of dry roasted almonds.
  • Please tell me more about PGX I never heard of them and how did it help you ?

i second the teeth brushing. I live in a 2 story house, so I even bought a second toothbrush for downstairs (I keep it in the kitchen), so I don't have the excuse that I'm busy with the kids downstairs. And for when I do give in, I try to have easy healthy things, like fresh berries (they are expensive, but if you can swing it, Costco has the best prices and quality where we are).

I have a full bowl of cereal before bed.
It helps regulate blood sugar and I stay asleep all night.
    BTW...i lose fat too!

    Go to PGX.com

It has helped me in many ways. It has lessened my food cravings and it has kind of made me lose interest on food when I do take it. Its a fiber supplement matrix.

Good stuff and well worth it.

I dont know...If I cant eat the product or get a list of what in it....

    "PGX The Bottom Line
The makers of PGX have done a good job in providing customers with a wealth of information on their website. Despite not having an outlined list of ingredients used in the making of the product, the science behind the formulation was adequately explained, leaving no cause for complaints. The manufacturer displays complete transparency by also admitting that some users might experience certain side effects and that the product does not immediately work for some dieters—that is a sign of a product you can trust because they do not make purely positive claims that aren’t true for all. PGX is made from all-natural ingredients, which makes it the better weight loss option provided that instructions are religiously followed, such as the intake of water while taking it. It may not be available for purchase through the official website, but the fact that a lot of health stores nationwide carry PGX should give you enough reason to at least try this product and see if it works for you."

    And this sounds like fun!!!!

Ingredients are not clearly listed and explained individually
Minor side effects include gas, bloating, loose stools, and constipation
Ordering through the official website is not possible, but PGX is available in most health stores all over North America
Price is not explicitly mentioned anywhere on the official website
There are no free trials offered
    Limited information about the manufacturer

How about eating the correct combination of calories and macronutrients and just not being hungry?
How many of you are on the 1200 calories or "eat below the BMR" diet?

This is what I'm doing. I don't always stay below my 1200/BMR, but it does push me to exercise when I want to eat more.
