Well, I am a really big cheese lover...In several of the posts on here, I have noticed people refer to Laughing Cow Cheese. Is it 'better' for you than regular cheese?
What is the best way to eat it?
Thanks
ps...I am new to mfp & really liking it.

I think it's like 35 calories a wedge which makes it a nice treat.
Eat it with a servicing of crackers or some fruit
Darn, I'm hungry now. .0 -
Like the other user said, it is low calorie and makes a good, quick snack. I like the blue cheese, but I don't really know what to eat it with because I don't eat gluten! Guess I can just eat it alone0

I like the light swiss, yummy. Just by itself its yummy and low calorie0

I think it is awesome for 35 calories and the variety is great. My favorite thing to do is get hungry girl flatout bread you can have s full flatout for 100 calories or 1/2 for 50 calories. I toast it in toaster oven, then if I am using full size flatout I spread a entire wedge on flatbread they are all good. with half just use half the wedge. Then I add either slices of honey turkey lunchmeat or grilled chicken. It is sooo good especially if you have special k cracker chips sea salt or southwest ranch and 2 tbsp of tomatillo salsa. Yum!
Also, the garlic and herb cheese is great with baby carrots, which it gets me to eat more baby carrots then I normally would.0 -
It is very soft so I use it as a spread in place of mayo on my tomato sandwiches. Yummy.0

Laughing cow is AH-MAZING0
-
I usually have it with some type of crackers or celery.0

i buy the light and it's so creamy... i eat it on it's own!0

Also, if you shop at Aldi's they have their brand called Happy Farms, it's less expensive and it is only 25 calories per wedge. I like to spread it on a toasted slice of Healthy Life Bread and sprinkle it with Garlic & Herb Mrs. Dash. Yummy!0

I would think you could eat it with rice cakes- I don't think those have gluten.
Laughing Cow cheese is amazing on rice cakes, egg white omelets, toast, crackers and moreMy particular favorites are : Light French Onion Soup, Light Chipotle, Light Blue Cheese, Light Mozzarella & Sun Dried Tomato and Light Creamy Swiss

-
I put it on my bagel thins, yummy.....0

its spreadable so you can have it on some crackers- i just use reduced fat ritz or townhouse crackers- those are like 60 calories for 5 or 6 crackers depending... its a nice lo cal snack. i also like babybel mild cheddar which is 60 calories and alouette spinach artichoke dip is wonderful- 2 tbs are 70 calories... if you like cheese, these are my favorites
good luck

Laughing cow wedges are fabulous! I use it thinned out with a little skim milk in my tuna fish, with Blue Diamond Almond Rice crackers, on ezekiel bread when making a sandwich (in place of mayo), with any veggies to snack on and I tried Hungry Girl's recipe for fettucine using laughing cow and shirataki noodles....delish!!!!0

yes!! It's absolutely delicious and you can use it in just about anything. You can cook with it, although it's kinda hard- you;de have to melt it first, or you can just eat it out of the wrapper.0

I love the garlic herb as well....0

I like to spread a wedge on Nature's Own bagel thins. So tasty!!!0

It's good mixed in anything that needs a little creamy texture to it....eat it on a baked potato...stirred into hot brown rice...mixed in with okra gumbo....a bowl of tomato soup....I like the fact that it is premeasured into 35 calories because if I have big bag or block or cheese I won't control how much I get out and eat, but I can control wedge. It IS expensive though.
I like to spread it on a flatout bread for a snack....with onion..yum......

it taste good and its low calorie. i use it in my stuffed chicken0

I use it on carrots and celery as well as whole wheat crackers. I put the cream chees one on my bagel thins or light englis muffin. I often use the garlic and herb, swiss, or chipotle ones as a spread for my wrap sanwhiches. I love all of them. I use the french onion one as a "dip" for my light potato chips. sometimes I slice it up a bit and put in in an omlet, I have put it on a baked potato. I keep every flavor in the house. now, I also found a strawberry cream cheese flavor. I have not tried that one yet but will be getting it soon!
I kind of feel like sam i am - I will heat LC here I will ea LC there I will eat LC anywhere - and on anything!
I have to be careful not to eat all of them all day - I love them.0 -
I buy the Light Swiss, and love it. I use it in cooking, on crackers, veggies, and recentaly.. on light wheat toast with some thin deli ham, makes a killer sandwich! Also good on Bagel thins!0
-
Laughing cow light on a spelt cake mmmmmm (like a rice cake but low carb)0
-
Love, love, love the stuff!!! I use it on my bagel thin when I'm making an egg sandwich. I use it as a dip for pretzels. I use it on my wrap with chicken ham or turkey...or even in my sandwich. Love it!!! I go through quite a bit of it. :O)0

Oh, I get the light garlic herb cheese, then I put it on a Wasa Crisp with low-sodium deli chicken or turkey slice with a slice of tomato.....then if I am feeling really sassy, I put some avocado on it....super tasty! 126 calories for 2 crackers sharing one cheese wedge with the chicken....add 58 calories for 1/4 an avocado....super great snack or lunch0
