pouted a lot. No matter how much strength training I did it didn't all go away. Got better, but there was still some. Til I gained weight again...

unfortunately there is not much you can do. once the elasticity is gone it's not coming back. This is why people get Skin surgery and tummy tucks. I have it too and I hate it.

My bat wings (ha!) were pretty bad when I started to lose weight, and I was worried about them getting worse as I lost. I've been doing strength training consistently, and I noticed yesterday that my arm flab is shrinking. So, it seems to me that strength training is the best fix, but as other people have said, there will be a certain amount of lose skin that you just can't do anything with.

lol bat wings can't be that bad. Thanks for the help thou
  • I used Bio Oil. After the birth of my son my stretch marks were quite prominent. They're now barely visible- you really can only see them in certain angles of light. The loose skin that was on my lower belly has also returned to what it was pre-pregnancy. It took 6 months of use, twice daily. I don't know the exact science behind it, but it hydrates the skin which in turn helps with elasticity. Expensive but it worked for me.

OH wow will try thanks so much
  • I spoke to a plastic surgeon, he said you need to maintain your weight for a year, the skin will shrink back as far as it's going to be able to in that year, and the rest can be taken off with a tummy tuck. I still think that strength training and bio oil will make a huge difference in that time frame too.
