.....or is it just me? :blushing:

I looked up some military cadence recordings a couple of years ago and started jogging to them on the treadmill at the gym. While I'm no jogger/runner/faster-than-a-walking-pace type of girl, they kept me wicked motivated and they get stuck in your brain. I found myself mouthing the responses to myself as I was jogging and at times felt compelled to chant along because I was THAT into it.

So.... is anyone else into this? If not, this is also a good strategy for those who want to keep motivated and find that music doesn't get the job done.

Sound off! (1, 2....)

I do! I was in the Army about 25 yrs ago, when I was young and fit. Now that I've started back trying to get fit, I find that running to cadence helps me keep a reasonable pace. If I can't call back the response, I know I'm running too hard. And yes, they get in your head.
