:ohwell: My mother inlaws birthday was yesterday and I woke up ready to be really good....got on the scale and was down another .5 lb....so i'm like oh I'm motivated!!!
Then it happened! I started cleaning and cooking (she is puerto rican so I made all her favs, pork shoulder, rice and beans, plaintain....and lots of other stuff too) anyway...I didn't really eat breakfast except for coffee cuz I was in the zone....my son was being good I was just chugging along....
AND for my efforts I ending up being really hungry and when we ate dinner lets just say I ate really well! lol...but it didn't stop there her sister inlaw bought goodies and I endulged and omg the freshes bread in the world and I enduldged!
I decided to not count my cals yesterday because it became a blur! lol....I don't think I did too bad but the sodium was high I can feel it!
New start but man I'm hoping that no more parties or holidays til memorial day will help me stay on track and I've learned....take time for breakfast!!!!
hugs and I keep thinking fresh start...but feel guilty as this is the second one since Easter! :ohwell:

you're not alone! i ate pizza for dinner last night.....and boy, did i eat. i'm embarrassed to say how much i ate. i did calculate the calories and was over by 600 for the day! ugh! i'll count it as my cheat day and get back on track the rest of the week.
good luck! don't beat yourself up though! everyone needs a cheat every now and then! at least, that's what i'm telling myself....0 -
Ditto for me, I'm so ashamed....I made pilsbury buttery tasting biscuits (my kid is 14 and weighs under 90 lbs, lucky he didn't inherit my weight issues, more like under weight issues) for my son to eat for snacks this week (spring break) and I couldn't resist...I ate 1 for breakfast with 2 tbsp country gravy, and 1 later when I was cooking some bacon (he likes BLT's, I had bought the bacon to add flavor to ham and beans but never made it to the store to buy the ham on sale).
The bacon pretty much escaped my mouth (2 slices didn't make it though ).
I don't even want to talk about lunch. :grumble:
I still have dinner to go, think I'm going to stick to a pile of veggies or salad and a small boneless skinless chicken breast. I don't have any calories left, but I know I will need to eat something before I hit the hay tonight.
Tomorrow will be a new day, and I WILL resist temptation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!0 -
