I haven't got anything yet, but I walk around a few blocks, and I'm saving up for a punching bag and an elliptical.0

I live with the parents still so have limited space, (my bedroom & livingroom)
I use dumbells and an Ab wheel, I do have an ball and an inflatable punching bag but i dont have much space to use them atm.0 -
Indoor bike (I like this one http://www.bodybike.dk/indoor-cycles/classic-and-classic-ss)
Dumbells with spare discs to ramp up weight if/when necessary
Yoga mat
Running shoes
Hiking shoes0 -
We have just turned our conservatory into a gym, its cost around £400 but we'll get that back in gym membership for my wife and I in one year. We bought:
Heavy duty foam tiling to protect the floor
Stationary bike (awaiting delivery)
Aerobics step
Dumbells and Barbells
Kettlebells
Resistance bands
Push up stands
Pull up bar.
Jump rope
TV and DVD player
I think we've covered all the bases with this equipment, I'd love a big punchbag but we're out of space now, If you hate big communal gyms like I do, its well worth the investment.
BTW, I get most of my cardio from running.0 -
Power Rack with moveable bench... power racks are awesome.0
-
Treadmill, hand weights, YouTube exercise videos by Tiffany Rothe... It's all I need. I have a personal trampoline but it's tough on the knees and back..0
-
2 tins of beans and a 30ds dvd0

Power Rack with moveable bench... power racks are awesome.
This is what I have.
Power Rack, Moveable incline bench, Olympic bar and weights.
It cost me £600 second hand from eBay for the lot, I needed to hire a van to get home but it is the best home work out kit bar none. For cardio I have a pair of running shoes and the streets.0 -

What are your goals? Do you want to do strength work, cardio or a mixture of both? How much money are you thinking of spending? Do you have a lot of space or a few square feet?0 -
Cross trainer, exercise bike, exercise DVDs, weights, rowing machine, stepper, treadmill, punchbg and gloves, pilates ball etc etc etc.........................
I've always been VERY good at throwing money at my weight problem but (until now) not very good at actually using the equipment.
Punchbag is a great fitness tool, not too fond of a mini trampoline (too much bouncing is not good for my boobs!!!)0 -
I've got a resistance band which I have in my handbag and use to slip in some sneaky excersises if I don't have any customers in work.
Would def reccomend as there are so many different options with just 1 tiny bit of equipment

Why don't you start by writing a program based on kettle-bells only then? From there, you can add exercises and decide to invest in some extra stuff if required.
That's what I did, I initially had a mat for abs and stuff, and some dumbbells.
Over time, I introduced more and more exercises and variety, and bought a pull up bar, some barbells, EZ bars and a bench.
But you don't need to invest too much when starting, just see if you get the hang of it.0 -
I only workout at home and the only stuff I have is ankle/wrist weights.0

I have a 1kg hand-weights, 2 x 4kg kettle bells & 1 x 3kg kettle bell, I have a total flex (basically a resistance contraption that is BRILLIANT), a medicine ball (8kg one), balance board, resistance bands, small weighted balls (500g & 1kg)....... you know how many I use? The hand-weights. & that's all. Out of the $400 total flex & all the other stuff.... I use a $10 pair of hand-weights..... how sad am I?
I usually do Zumba though & Tiffany Rothe workouts usually need hand-weights..... so so far I have not used much else..... yet.0 -

All I'm using at home right now is an exercise mat, my DVDs, and weights! We have a spare bedroom and want to set it up for strength training- but as I perceive it, that can cost a lot.. we'll see!0
