What is a realistic time frame? I started checking it daily but it proved to be somewhat discouraging for me???

  • I find once a week works good, and I take pics and measurements once a month, if I weigh myself dailey I get neurotic and drive myself nuts and get discouraged sometimes.

    Weekly. Or even less often.

Personally, I'm a daily weigher. Bad, I know! I watch for those daily fluctuations, because it cues me into food allergies or sensitivities. Just discovered a few, and it's really made a difference!

    Never. Take measurements instead.

The scale is a terrible indicator of progress.

Daily, but I'm going to stop this habit and only do it once a week (I'm in a challenge group here so much weight in weekly to participate).

You know, I totally agree. I have to remind people that i'm not aiming to lose weight as much as i am to get toned! even if i weigh the same, as long as its muscle and not fat i'm ok with that!
