Anyone that has this HRM, has it been good with you? Is it highly recommended to purchase?

I have had mine almost 2 years and I love it and would recommend it, no problems with it.

I got mine just after Christmas and love it!
I cant compare it much to other HRMs since its the only one i have ever owned, but it does what i need it to do (gives me my HR, my calorie burn which i assume is more accurate than MFP cal burns, tracks progress, etc)
I ordered mine from Amazon.com as they seemed to have the best prices.

Read the instructions first, it needs to measure your resting HR first and be sure to wet the sensors.

I bought mine for Christmas and I absolutely couldn't be happier. It's very simple to use (I'm not very tech savvy) but it does a whole heck of a lot!
I especially enjoy the summary feature that tells me how many minutes were "Fitness Burn" v "Fat Burn"
I absolutely say it's worth the money.
Oh, and I like the red one best. Just saying :]

Me too. I have the FT40 and had a few problems at first. I logged service calls and posted it back to Polar, they fixed it and posted it back the same day and refunded my postage. Since then no trouble whatsoever. I wouldn't dream of working out without it now

I have the FT7. Had the old F6 which was fine but after about 3 years the battery died. Took it to a watch shop to have battery replaced and although they said it wouldnt be a problem replacing the battery, they killed it.

the FT7 is user friendly and seems to give same results as the old reliable F6. Got it at amazon much cheaper than the polar site and cheaper than target store

Have the Polar FT7. Easy to set up, user friendly, and I don't leave home without it.

I got the FT7 too. its reads about 80 calories less than the local gyms on the treadmill. Use it to get accurate calorie count doing P90X. works like a charm and chest strap is the best I've ever had.
