Hi, my name is Katie. I started using the Kindle Fire app about a month ago and just checked out the website today. I grew up thinking I was smaller than I was because I held my weight well. I was overweight when I got pregnant with my daughter but was convinced I would lose the weight quickly so I chose to eat what I wanted and gained 50lbs while pregnant. I didn't loose the weight and then added another 40lbs when I got pregnant with my son two years later. My husband has always loved me no matter what I looked like so I never felt a need to loose the weight and I think I was in denial about how heavy I was. We finally purchase a scale and I was shocked. I don't believe in diets because I have cheated on those before. Now that I've been using this I have been tracking my calorie intake and and seeing what a difference just doing 30 minutes of activity a day makes. I've already lost 14 pounds and am really excited to lose the rest.

Hi Katie, good luck and you are doing really good. Me l have just joined this site today to keep track of my calories and my activity that l do a day. I had no idea that l was burning so many calories a day as l am doing 2 hours of activity a day plus with running after 3 kids as well. Was very surprised.0

Awesome job!!! That is a lot of weight... I would not think of this as a diet, I would think of it as a healthy lifestyle change. This site offers so much motivation and encouragment. You can do this, there are tons of post proving that this works..... Just remember to log your food & exercise everyday!!!! Congrats on a job well done so far...
Remember Nothing taste as good as skinny feels!!! (Not Skinny,Fit is more like it)LOL..
