I don't think cocoa is dangerous at all. I think it's the sugar and fat that gets added to it that is dangerous.

I try to find higher percentages of cacao and eat that when I want a chocolate fix. Lately, my chocolate of choice is dumping extra spoonfuls of baking chocolate powder (the unsweetened bitter stuff) into my protein shakes. It makes them taste a lot better.

I love dark chocolate. Like 60-70%!
One square is enough to curb my chocolate craving

I've found placing Carob power in things (like greek yogurt) will help stop me craving the chocolate needs.

    Hummm....good idea!

Yeah, I think it's the sugar that makes it bad.

Yesterday my little boy and I had chocolate covered strawberries. I used Green and Blacks Organic 72% baking squares. 90 Calories, 7 grams of carbs, 1 gram of protein. (per three squares. It was bitter, but the strawberries were sweet. It worked out well. I used six squares and it nicely covered a dozen strawberries.
