Is my mindset wrong?

Ok, so I am doing the rosemary conley diet at the moment and i said to my friend today that if i can lose half a stone a month (7lbs a month so just under 2lbs a week) that i could lose 3 stone by my birthday in July. That would make me 9 and a half stone, which with my height would give me a bmi of 21.5 - which is obviously healthy.
Anyway my friend basically freaked out. She was like your going to be too small. your going to be tiny!
And i just think, she's heavier than me, but she has boobs and thats her shape. Her goal weight is my current weight.
Is it wrong to want to be tiny? Ive got no boobs and my figure is pretty much up and down, and my main goal is health. But health and as small as i can be.

I think that a BMI of 21 is A-OK. I think your thinking is right on for the most part. I think that a reasonable weight loss is very smart. Check. I think a reasonable goal that isn't weight is good. Check. But I think you should re-think your use of BMI as that goal.
I think it's personally better to use a body fat % rather than BMI as a goal.
Make sure you take measurements and pictures before you start. So that you are not basing your goals strictly on weight.
I think you are going to get a lot of resistance from your friend. Keep your head on straight and you will reach your goal.0 -
I think its more that i Have a goal weight in mind and used my bmi to double check that wasn't underweight. My friends all think I'm a lot smaller than i am because i hide my weight well, so they think I'm already a UK 10 when I'm actually a UK 14 :S0

Sounds like your friend doesn't want you to succeed with it. There is nothing wrong with tiny, especially at a BMI of 21.5! Don't let your friends sabotage your goal. I think you are being perfectly reasonable!0
