rest days

what are you all doing with rest days, I have been going hard Sunday through Tuesday then taking Wednesdays off and then hitting it hard Thursday through Saturday.

I am really pushing hard on the 6 days of exercise, I walk 3 miles on my lunch and then hit the gym to burn about 800 calories and an hour+ on weekends we hike for about 2 hours.

today is weds and I am feeling guilty for taking the day off.

anyone else ever have that,?

    I go hard Monday - Saturday and take Sunday's off. I used to feel guilty, but not anymore!! I read an article recently about the importance of rest days, and how the body needs to repair and refuel itself. So, girl, just relax and enjoy it! ;-)

    I wll say that on my off day I do food prep for the week, so I feel like I'm still doing something beneficial for my body even though physically I'm having a day off!
