To see the whole article from the FDA use the link above.

Info for all those who ask about it all the time on here. Below is the first two paragrahps

"Anyone who has ever been on a diet—and there are many of us—knows that there are sensible ways to lose weight. These include balanced diets, exercising and realistic goals.

And then there are reckless ways to shed pounds—fads and diet aids that promise rapid weight loss, but often recommend potentially dangerous practices. These include HCG weight-loss products marketed over-the-counter (OTC) that are identified as "homeopathic" and direct users to follow a severely restrictive diet."

    Thanks for posting that!

Any doctor that is willing to supervise or prescribe HCG for weight loss should be turned into the state medical board for malpractice. ALL of the reliable scientific studies have concluded that HCG in ANY form does NOTHING to help with weight loss or make it safe to eat to little food. That Dr. Simeons that came up with the HCG diet was a quack, and his work was never accepted by the medical community.

    Please read this: http://www.webmd.com/diet/features/truth-about-hcg-for-weight-loss

BTW, I know someone that did HCG with the shots, and having to take a shot every day is AWFUL!!!!!!!!! They regained more than they lost within 6 months, and now wish they never heard of HCG

There is NO shortcut to healthy weight loss. It took time to put that weight on, and if you take it off too fast, it can cause all sorts of health issues.
