How often should I weigh myself?

HI!

I was just wondering, how often should i weigh myself?? I know that I should weigh myself at the same time of the day, but should i do it everyday?

    Most do it once a week, I weigh in once a month. I keep track once in awhile, but official is once a month.

    I agree with once a week but sometimes I do it twice a week if I think I am doing well. But that can backfire so be careful.

    I get on the scale just about every day, but I don't get emotionally involved.
  • i weigh every morning at the same time. I do it to see how certain foods effect my weight loss. For instance if I was high on the sodium side and drank my daily intake of water I might retain water which means lower weight loss (usually).

    once a week for tracking purposes but I focus more on incheslost instead of weight.

    originally i was doing this every day but it was very frustrating. just recently i decided to weight myself Friday mornings before breakfast and this seems like a better approach for me.

    I weigh myself every Sunday morning before breakfast (I've usually been up for 15min or more before I eat breakfast).
    I take measurements on the first of each month because I think that could change more slowly sometimes.
