So on the box of pasta it says Serving Size 2oz (56g/1/2 cup). So is that a half cup dry, or cooked?

That is the dry measure. Best way to measure is to weigh the pasta before you cook it.

Shoot, I don't have a food scale. Would you say a 1/2 cup dry = 1 cup cooked?
  • When doing spaghetti I always measured cook and do a half cup with a half cup of sauce, this fills me up pretty good

Half-cup cooked grain or pasta = a serving per the food pyramid.

What I have found is that 2 oz dry is about 1 cup cooked...

    Hope that helps.

I definitely recommend getting a food scale.
