quick question about pasta serving size. . . . .

So on the box of pasta it says Serving Size 2oz (56g/1/2 cup). So is that a half cup dry, or cooked?

That is the dry measure. Best way to measure is to weigh the pasta before you cook it.0

Shoot, I don't have a food scale. Would you say a 1/2 cup dry = 1 cup cooked?0

When doing spaghetti I always measured cook and do a half cup with a half cup of sauce, this fills me up pretty good0

Half-cup cooked grain or pasta = a serving per the food pyramid.0

What I have found is that 2 oz dry is about 1 cup cooked...
