Hi all!

I have a 3 tier steamer. I know fish and veggies work well in it. But I'm racking my brain trying to think of other foods and dishes I can do in it? I know there must be heaps. But my brain is a little flat today.
If anyone has any great recipes or suggestions for steaming it would be greatly appreciated! :)

I know theres dumplings and asian pork buns etc, but they're not particularly low in calorie and I'm looking to make really healthy meals.

Thanks!

If you are looking for a dessert or snack, streamed apples are delicious!! I peel and cut about five apples into chunks, stream for about 25 or 30 minutes, and sprinkle with apple pie spice. I usually make them for my sixteen month old, but end up sneaking them because they are sooooo good!
  • Thanks! That sounds so yummy! I might have to try that this weekend.
I was more looking for dinner things though. Stuff that I can just chuck in and let it do its thing. I love steaming stuff because you don't use extra oils or fats. I'm just not sure what works well that way lol
