To yolk... or not to yolk?

lol... Just curious really on others opinions about health benifits vs cons on eating the whole egg or omitting the yolk. I personally only eat the whites, but only because I don't like the taste of the yolk. I've heard some say that it's good for you though? Opinions? :wink:

    The white is all protein, the yolk all the vitamins and minerals.
    Together the are an almost perfect food.
    You need some fat to utilise the vitamins and minerals and proteins. It's all in there - perfect, and so versatile.

    if its just a plain hard boiled egg.....no yoke (i dont like the texture)....any other way i love it....the yoke gives eggs more flavor to me!!

    So yolk = more vitamins and minerals, that sounds worth it to me. Does it have more cholesteral though? @ Mo Love, I agree about hard boiled eggs, only whites with those and it's super yummy, but yeah, the yolk on that I just can't do. xD
