The meaning of Insanity

For years my father has told me: the meaning of insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting a diferent result. Finaly I decided to let it sink in!! I made lots of changes. I began to see a therapist to help me get over an abusive relationship. Before I would say I can deal with this myself, I found that I wasnt dealing with it at all. I pushed it down deep and allow myself to beleive all the horrible thing I was told for years. I broke free of that hole I placed myself into. I stoped saying bad things about myself and as encouragment I sent a request to all my friend, family and coworkers asking them for one word that discribes me. It was amazing not one negative word came through. I look at the list everyday so I do not forget how special I am. I stoped allowing my self to think that I wasnt important and I made time for me. Becoming healthier and happier. I have seen a huge difference in my daughters attitude and all my relationships. I enjoy every day making an attempt to do something different and break my habits. I can say that it has been the greatest thing Iv ever done for myself and every opportunity has been a blessing. I hope this help others to pull yourself out of your daily rutt and help you break free from insanity. Life is too special to play the same everyday!!!

I have also found that taking control of my eating habits and exercising more has allowed me more insight into myself and therefore more control of my life. It also helps to relieve stress and to learn to live in the moment!:happy:0
