Sick and struggling to maintain caloric intake

I got a cold yesterday that has me knocked for sick pretty much. I'm not sure if it's because of the juices or what, but I'm finding it extremely hard to stay within my calories allowed, especially when I cannot do any exercising at all. Is this normal? Is it ok? Trying not to fall off the wagon too much because of this cold....HELP!

chicken soup!
it's low calorie, keep you full and clear your stuffy nose.0 -
Don't worry about staying under calories while you're sick. You need extra to heal and get healthy again. Once you're feeling better you can start worrying about it again.0

It probably is the juice. All I could drink about 2 weeks ago was apple juice and all I ate was one cup of soup a day and I bet I hit my calorie limit everyday. It's ok, you need fluids and when you are sick you want something more than just water. You'll be fine and you'll bounce back great once you are feeling better!0
