Ok so I followed the recipe for this Dukan (low carb) cake on Fitnesstreats.com but also added some walnuts for some texture and just because I love nuts! (teehee)

If I could change one thing about it now, is not putting as much baking powder in, as it does have that taste to it. Never the less it is good for the nutrional values

Ingredients:

70 grams rice flour (the original recipe is for oat flour)
40 grams powered skimmed milk
30 grams Green and Blacks cocoa powder
4 grams artificial sweetener
1 tbsp baking powder
5 eggs
65 grams no fat Greek yoghurt
10ml vanilla extract
50 grams chopped walnuts

Method:

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees C
Mix all the dry ingredients in one bowl, mix all the wet in another.
Slowly incorporate the wet to the dry and then fill a line and lightly greased loaf tin

Bake for 25-30 minutes then leave to cool

Nutritional values, 12 servings:

114 cal, 8 carb, 6 fat, 7 protein

I have a very sweet tooth, and I wouldn't class this as sweet, like a normal chocolate cake would be

The cocoa powder I used is quite dark and rich, I was going to use agave syrup but I'm trying to budget at the moment and i already go through too much of it (its not the cheapest)

You could use another flavouring, cut out the nuts, add coffee...which is what I plan to do on my next one!!
