So I was just going through and looking at songs that were popular when I graduated high school (bc my 10 year reunion is coming up) and figured this may be a fun little game. Post the year you graduated and 3 songs that you remember the best from that year!
2002 -
No More Drama – Mary J. Blige
Hot in Here - Nelly
Can’t Get You Out Of My Head – Kylie Minogue
Those sounds pretty much rounded out my senior year - what were yours?

We graduated the same year. So pretty much the same. Even though it released in 2000, Teenage Dirtbag by Wheatus. Oo, and I'll add Puddle of Mud, was it "Blurry"?0 -

I replied on the other thread :P BSB and N-Sync were still big in 2001 lol But hey, my class also had a weird obsession with Thriller and Ice Ice Baby...0

1998
"Uninvited" by Alanis Morissette was pretty huge
"One Week" by The Bare-Naked Ladies, and I was so happy that they were finally making it big internationally
That blasted theme from Titanic would not stop playing :grumble:
EDIT: "Graduated" is kind of weird though, because I finished Grade 11 and got a head start on Grade 12 in Canada, then went overseas and did Grade 11/12 there, but that was the equivalent of Grade 12/1st year uni in Canada. So, 1998 was the year I satisfied my Grade 12 requirements. X_x0 -

Meatloaf-"I'd Do Anything for Love(But I Won't Do That)"--Bat out of Hell II: Back into Hell was also hugely popular at that time
And probably one of the most annoying songs of all time...

Me, too!
Lots of hair bands back then. I will add, "Wind Beneath My Wings" because I not only graduated in '89, I also got married that year and my aunt sang that song at our wedding.
Here are some more:
Milli Vanilli: Baby Don't Forget My Number & Blame it on the Rain
Fine Young Cannibals: Good Thing
Tone Loc: Funky Cold Medina
The Bangles: In Your Room
I think all those are from 1989. The late 80's, at least. And yup, I listened to them all0
